Pac 11 Pure Lombok, Sumbawa and Komodo, 11 days

This trip gives you the perfect opportunity to experience the culture and nature of both Lombok and Sumbawa. You will stay on a 'bounty' island, meet the traditional Sasak people of north and east Lombok, watch their dance performances and enjoy their traditional food. You will walk through stunning natural surroundings and get acquainted with local crafts, like weaving and pottery. While traveling through Sumbawa it feels like time stood still. You visit colorful markets and architectural sites, and laze on beautiful white sandy beaches. For a real adventure we visit the Komodo National Park, home to the world's most ancient animal, the Komodo dragon!

Day 1 and 2 Gili Meno
Arrival on Lombok. By boat to Gili Meno, a beautiful bounty island: relax, swim or snorkel.

Day 3 Labuan Pandan
Pass by rarely visited north coast of Lombok. Visit traditional villages. Walk through magnificent green rice-paddies. Stay in nice bungalows on the coast.

Day 4 Tetebatu
Snorkelingtrip by boat. See a traditional dance performance. Stay in cool mountain village

Day 5 Tetebatu
Trek towards Pringgasela, a weavingvillage. Delicious traditional Sasak meal.

Day 6 Sumbawa Besar
Transport to ferry to Sumbawa. Stay in small stilted houses, directly on the beach.

Day 7 Sumbawa Besar
Tour around town: colourful market, the palace of the sultan, and a traditional Sumbawanese village,

Day 8 Bima
A long and beautiful drive along the coast with interesting stops. Visit local school.

Day 9 Komodo, overnight on boat
Boattrip to Komos where we meet the majestic dragons. Plenty of snorkelstops. On to Rinca. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 10 Labuan Bajo
Stroll over Rinca in search of dragons. Snorkelstops and on to Flores.

Day 11 Bali
Transfer to the airport.
