Lombok and Sumbawa, 21 days
This is a tour for real adventurers: exploring Lombok and Sumbawa by riding a Honda Tiger! We try to go off the beaten track as often as possible to make you drive through beautiful unspoilt and remote areas. You will get to know the locals and their way of life during your stay at the home-stays included in the itinerary. Besides that we will camp 'in the wild' several times on secluded and unspoilt beaches. This is a unique opportunity to experience the 'real' Indonesia.Day 1 and 2 Kuta Bali
Transfer to hotel in Kuta. Introductory tour in the surroundings of Bali.
Day 3 Senggigi, Lombok
By ferry to Lombok. Via byroads to Senggigi.
Day 4 Senaru
Drive through untouched North Lombok. Visit to traditional market and Sasak village. Walk to waterfall. Hotel with views on Rinjani volcano.
Day 5 Labuan Pandan
Drive over beautiful mountain pass. Traditional weaving village.
Day 6 Labuan Pandan-Air Bari (Sumbawa)
Visit to local fish market. Cross by ferry to Sumbawa. Picturesque villages with stilted houses. Overnights at local people in village near the coast.
Day 7 Snorkeltrip Moyo
Short trek on beautiful island Moyo. Snorkelling at one of the most spectacular reefs in the world.
Day 8 Air Bari-Bima
Driver through varied landscape.
Day 9 Bima-Wana
Unknown route along the North coast. Visit to a furniture and boat making village. Camping on the beach.
Day 10 Wana-Huu
Off the road to surf paradise. Comfortable hotel with swimming pool.
Day 11 Free day Huu
Free day to learn surfing. Possibility for short trek to waterfall.
Day 12 Huu-Selante
Route along the coast. Overnight at local people.
Day 13 Selante-Lunyuk
Route through unknown inlands. Overnight with local people.
Day 14 Lunyuk-Tongo
Unpaved roads through transmigrants area. Camping on the beach.
Day 15 Tongo-Jelenga
Route through rarely visited west coast of Sumbawa. Beautiful beaches and deep blue sea.
Day 16 Jelangga-Tetebatu (Lombok)
To Lombok. Overnight in village in spur of Rinjani volcano.
Day 17 Walk Tetebatu
Time for a nice walk. Sasak lunch in weaving village. Special dance performance.
Day 18 Tetebatu-Kuta Lombok
Route through dry scenery. Overnight on one of the most beautiful beaches of Indonesia.
Day 19 Kuta Lombok-Sekotong
Driver along rugged south coast. Overnight in western "tail"of Lombok, view on idilic islands.
Day 20 Sekotong- Kuta Bali
By ferry back to Bali. Back to Kuta to part with our bikes.
Day 21 Departure
Transfer to the airport.
