Lombok, Sumbawa and Komodo, 14 days
This varied tour has it all. An insight into Lomboks daily live, impressive views of deserted Sumbawa, and a relaxed boattrip to the famous Komodo dragons.Day 1 Denpasar - Padangbai
Pick up from Airport Denpasar.
Day 2 Padangbai - Senggigi
Ferry to Lombok. Biking through original Lombok countryside to our hotel with pool at the beach.
Day 3 Senggigi - Gili Trawangan
Up-and-down tour along steep cliffs with bays, coco-palms and picturesque villages. Boat to Gili Trawangan: swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing.
Day 4 Gili Trawangan - Senaru
Tour through peanut plantations and rice fields. The second part of this tour we will have to make some 500 alti-metre to our bungalows with splendid view.
Day 5 Senaru - Sembalun
We start downhill, after that a hilly landscape with peanut- and tobacco plantations. The last part is just uphill to our hotel near Rinjani National Park.
Day 6 Sembalun - Labuan Pandan
Hairpins through jungle up to the pass. As a reward we have a downhill of 25 km through rich green fauna, bamboo jungle and tobacco plantations to the ocean.
Day 7 Labuan Haji - Sumbawa Besar
Trip along marvellous coasts. We can admire the characteristically houses on stilts in some fishing villages.
Day 8 Sumbawa Besar, daytrip to Moyo
Relaxing day at Moyo island. Sunbathing, snorkelling or hike to a nearby waterfall where you can take a bath in a natural pool and listen to the sound of the exotic birds.
Day 9 Sumbawa Besar - Bima
Our bus is the last escape on this long leg: 240 km and it is not flat all the way. We surround the asphalt-caldera with impressive view to mountain Tambora.
Day 10 Bima - Rinca
Winding roads, followed by a downhill to the Flores sea with magic view. Then we follow a small route along the coast with lonely villages on stilts.
Day 11 Rinca - Komodo
Hiking tour in search for the famous Komodo dragon.
Day 12 Komodo - Bima
Time to make our way back. Upon our crossing over the Flores Sea we have the last chance to discover the magic submarine world.
Day 13 Bima - Seminyak
Flight from Bima to Bali. After having spent so many days in nature you may enjoy the nightlife in Kuta.
Day 14 Airport
Free morning. Transfer to Airport Denpasar.
