Java adventure tour, 8 days
In this adventurous tour through Java's last remaining jungle you will see beautiful scenery, plantations and one of Indonesia's most spectacular vulcanos. We'll also visit the beach for giant turtles and snorkling.Day 1 Denpasar - Ubud
Pick up from airport.
Day 1 Bedugul
Pick up from Airport Denpasar, completion of the bikes and a short trip to the centre of Candi.
Day 2 Bedugul - Pemuteran
Climb to the edge of the caldera. Then 40 km downhill to the north coast of Bali through forests, villages, beautiful vegetation and rice terraces.
Day 3 Pemuteran - East Java
Diving or snorkelling. In the afternoon ferry to Java.
Day 4 East Java - Volcano Ijen
A lot of climbing today through sugarcane and coffee plantations, jungle, solitary villages and wild nature up to the peak.
Day 5 Volcano Ijen - Banyuwangi
Bike or hike the 400 m to the edge of the crater for an incredible view. Today we will cycle 35 km downhill through jungle, coffee-and coconut-plantations to reach the ocean.
Day 6 Banyuwangi - Rajegwesi
A 10 km jungle trail on this day, the rest is asphalt and broken stone through plantations of coffee, cacao and rubber. Break in an ex-Dutch-coffee-manufacturer. Camp at a swimming bay of the National park.
Day 7 Rajegwesi - Sukamade
Today the road will be quite difficult with some streams as obstacles, difficult coatings, challenging your bike-abilities. We spend the night in a camp in the National Park. Possibility to observe the turtles laying their eggs into the sand at night.
Day 8 Sukamade - Kuta
We will see young turtles go to the sea before we will start on our back tour. Again we will have streams to cross and difficult stone-paste. After a relaxing swim the bus will take us back to Bali.
